TAFE Western Australia Entry Requirements

TAFE WA's entry requirements are based on the level of education. Relevant work experience may also be taken into account.

Some courses have specific prerequisites; you can find these out by emailing one of our student counselors.

Entry into the majority of the courses depending on your English language skills which are measured with TOEFL or IELTS test scores.

If you have completed a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), it is required that you have a minimum score of 530.

If you have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score, you need a minimum of 5.5.

If you do not have one of these scores, you can apply to sit the TAFE WA English Proficiency Test or study English.
